ANVISA SNCM Compliant Track And Trace System
Brazil's Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA) has mandated the Sistema Nacional de Controle de Medicamentos (SNCM) as the national pharmaceutical track and trace framework under Law 11.903/2009, Law 13.410/2016, and RDC 157/2017. SNCM requires every pharmaceutical product manufactured in or imported into Brazil to carry a unique GS1 DataMatrix code containing the Unique Medicine Identification (IUM) — the ANVISA registration number (13 digits), serial number, batch number, and expiry date — with all supply chain events (production, distribution, dispensing, return) reported to the SNCM platform. Sun Teknovation's Online Track & Trace system is fully equipped to meet ANVISA SNCM requirements, enabling pharmaceutical manufacturers and importers to generate unique IUM-based serialized codes, verify printed codes in real-time, manage multi-level aggregation, and submit event-based reports directly to the SNCM platform. Our system ensures end-to-end compliance, helping you avoid import rejections, regulatory penalties, and market disruptions while maintaining seamless product flow into the Brazilian market.
